Bea Travels the World
I would like to introduce you to my own children books about a little girl who travels the world. Written, illustrated and published by me personally, I had the origins of the idea in early 2021.
Inspired by my own travels as Sweettravelbee, I wanted to create something fun, colourful and educational for kids. After all, it is never too early to learn about different countries, right?
You will find the following countries in my – Bea Travels the World Series :
Bea goes to France
Bea goes to Australia
Bea goes to Egypt
Bea goes to Thailand
Bea and Oscar go to Italy
The idea is one book per country that I visited and particularly liked.
How did the idea come to me?
After reading many books to my niece and nephew, I noticed that, as much as they enjoy hearing the story, they also want colourful pictures illustrating what they are hearing. Furthermore, if they liked a book, I had to read it to them over and over again. Does it sound familiar?
My children books – Bea Travels the World – seemed to me a wonderful way to explain to them what I was doing on my adventures. Saying I am in France or another country, doesn’t really mean anything to small children. And what better way to show them, then in their own language. With colourful pictures and a fun story!!
Hence, after months of writing, drawing, editing and translating, I have now illustrated and published 3 children books, with two more arriving shortly. It also comes in various languages as I am multilingual and wanted to reach out to a wider reading audience.

My little fan club is growing every day, and I absolutely love sharing my books with children, whether it is reading in schools, to my niece and nephew, or to my friends’ kids. Watching them listen intently to the story, following Bea’s adventures and exploring the illustrations with curiosity, brings me so much joy.
I am a self-publisher and this book is handmade with lots of love and passion. I hope you will enjoy it as much as the kids you read it to. Recommended from the age from 0 – 6, or older if you would like to learn another language, these books are printed in limited amounts with copies selling fast.
